Did you know that in 2020 alone, 53% more waste was generated by plastic packaging? According to a study by HAW Hamburg, this is mainly due to the to-go and delivery business. The result: overflowing bins with mountains of Styrofoam and disposable packaging!
Julienne has found an environmentally friendly solution: You can now pick up your food in sustainable reusable bowls at restaurants or have it delivered. That’s what makes Julienne’s reusable bowls special for pick-up and delivery:

Borrowed bowls at a glance
Julienne’s bowls are easily borrowed without a deposit. Each bowl has an individual QR code that allows it to be identified clearly.
This enables the tracking of the bowls in the app including reminders to return them on time. The deposit-free system has the enormous advantage that the bowls move through the cycle more quickly and can thus fully exploit their sustainable potential. With a deposit, there is no motivation to return the bowl on the same day, in a month or a year.
If a bowl is not returned within 14 days, we automatically charge the customer 10 euros. Within the 14 days, the use is completely free of charge.
